An important part of Mime360’s activities includes ingesting new data as and when received from clients. The Data has to be Normalized, Sanity Checked, Catalogued and finally Indexed before it can be delivered to the various clients. With Data coming through various sources at different times, it is imperative to track and analyze the progress of data at various stages in order to accurately predict timelines and deliverables.
Analytics tool for data ingestion in video transcoding is web application which will guide to user of system to analyze each of the four phases in transcoding process. This gives information about which video files are in which stage of process. Along with this, it also provides information about amount of time required to process certain file and time of processing remaining. The system also shows total time remaining for all files to be processed. The system allows the user to select the formats to which he wants to convert his video files. These files are queued up and processed according to availability of resources. These files to be processed are selected form the system itself which will trigger backend to do the processing.
