The Smart Android Application Package is a group of applications that are developed under android environment. The package consists of two applications Quick Search and smart utilities.
Quick Search is an application that provides location based services where a user using the application is able to gain information about nearby important emergency locations and services like hospitals, blood banks and police stations. All the information is stored on server. All that users need to do is to enter the name of the city and based on that application provides all information about that service. The information required will be displayed on the Google map as the canvas. Also a user has privilege to send SMS or email to the hospital or police station in case of emergency. That is the main advantage of this application.
Smart Utilities application is an integration of utilities. Health Service utility describes the health information of user. Numbers is the utility storing important numbers like passport number, PAN card number, ADHAR card number. Password store is a utility providing facility to store password details of various accounts which itself is protected by a password. Electronic gadget maintenance utility provides detailed information of user’s automobile like automobile name, number, license details, last date of maintenance.
The entire package makes use of android platform which has got many advantages. It makes use of Linux kernel. The application is to be developed in Eclipse IDE with an Android plug-in, Android SDK 2.2 for Windows and WAMP server
backend support (database).
